About Us

Little Ducklings is a privately owned and managed children's day nursery.

We are a 48 place nursery catering for children from 3 months to 5 years which offers excellent day care in a loving and safe environment in which children can thrive emotionally and educationally, and enable children to gradually develop new skills through planned and spontaneous activities.

The nursery is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday throughout the year with exception of bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. We offer full and part time places and funded places for over 3's.

The nursery is divided up into 4 rooms which cater for the different ages within the nursery.

The nursery operates on a key worker system, this allows the parents to liaise with the key person and exchange any relevant information about the children on a daily basis. The key worker will be responsible for the observations and developmental records for the children within their key group.

Little Ducklings is very proud to show off their Five Stars on the front door for the highest possible rating for food and hygiene.

Little Ducklings selection of staff is a passionate team of fully qualified and trainees training towards their level 2 or 3. All staff have gained full training in paediatric 1st Aid and hold valid Food Hygiene certificates.
